The Eagle, a personal favourite. The design is based on a Tete-a-Boule 16' birch bark canoe. The Eagle is a 16'-2" tandem tripping canoe, forgiving in nature, yet very maneuverable and responsive at first touch of the paddle. Substantial load carrying ability. High ends and good centre depth to keep paddlers and gear dry. Featuring a flattened, shallow arch hull with a rockered keel line. The Eagle shown in these pictures has ash stems, gunnels, seats and thwart, select colour matched western red cedar planking with white cedar feature strip incorporating a thunderbird design, 32 inch crowned rosewood decks with coaming.
